Awards

In keeping with our school philosophy of supporting mastery of skills and attitudes desirous in a well-rounded citizen, Father Lacombe Catholic School is pleased to offer the following awards of recognition available to all who meet the listed requirements.

St. Stephen’s Good Shepherd Award:

Presented to any student mastering his or her grade level competencies for citizenship outlined in the formal assessment procedures. Examples of these expectations are as follows: respect, responsibility, compassion, self-discipline and integrity.

Excellent Attendance Gold Award: To the students who have no more than two excusable absences and no unexcused lates throughout the course of the school year.

Honour Roll: For students grades four through six who have obtained mastery (4) in all core subjects. Junior High students must achieve an average of 80% to be included on the honour role.  Please click on the links below to view the calculation and weighting for our Junior High Honors.

 Father Lacombe Exemplary Service Award: Available to all students who have distinguished themselves through their service to the school as a whole, i.e. extra assistance to others, active involvement in planning special events above and beyond the call of duty. Determined through input from classroom teachers.

Father Lacombe Sportsmanship Award:

This is presented to the male and female who best exemplifies the sprit of sportsmanship through their participation in extra-curricular sports.
