Dress Code Policy

SCHOOL DRESS CODE APPLIES FOR ALL SCHOOL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING EXTRA-CURRICULAR EVENTS AFTER SCHOOL.

1. Students are required to dress in school colors; navy or tan pants, white, navy or burgundy top. Junior High students are allowed the addition of black on the bottom or black on the top. However, a complete back outfit is not allowed.

2. No caps or bandanas are to be worn inside the school – students should be removing these items as they enter the building.

3. T-Shirts with large graphics or logos are not permitted.

4. No jeans are permitted unless required for special circumstances. (for example: field trips)

5. No outdoor coats are to be worn in the classrooms.

6. No sunglasses are to be worn in the school.

7. Undergarments are not allowed to be exposed at any time.

8. No halter tops or strapless dresses.

9. No ‘Spaghetti strap’ shirts or dresses allowed.

10. Shirts must cover the midriff – shirts should be at least to the waistband of the pants.

11. A student wearing clothing that is considered inappropriate for a school setting will be asked to change immediately.

For example: Short skirts, short shorts, mesh skirts.

12. Students are asked to remove any muddy/dirty footwear and place them on the assigned boot rack.

DRESS CODE FOR P.E. CLASSES

1. Grades 1 to 4 students must have indoor runners.

2. Grades 5 to Junior high students must wear:

Shorts or sweatpants

Plain T-Shirt or Sweatshirt

Designated indoor runners for activities in the gym

Outdoor runners for outside activities – Track and field, soccer, etc.

No sandals or street shoes are allowed in the gym or outside for P.E. Class.
